BASE METAL WRAP:

Copper climbed, pacing other industrial metals, on reduced
concern that a conflict in Syria would hurt a global recovery
after U.S. President Barack Obama called for a pause in
authorizing military strikes.

ENERGY WRAP:

West Texas Intermediate crude fell for a third day after
President Barack Obama called for a pause on authorizing a
military strike against Syria, easing concern that a conflict
will disrupt Middle East oil exports.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP:

Gold swung between gains and losses, touching the lowest price
in three weeks, after U.S. President Barack Obama asked
Congress to delay a vote on military action against Syria,
diminishing haven demand.
